I don't think that guy is really talking about HDR, just a filter that gives a similar effect but the image does look better after. I'll try that too.

High Dynamic Range

I've been reading Beauty In Decay and about how a lot of the featured photographers use HDR to create better images, keeping the camera still while you change the exposure seems the biggest issue, maybe I just need a more fancy remote. I just gave it a go and realised I probably need something a little more advanced than layers to merge the different photos for this effect. Time for some more research.

I was thinking of starting a Short Story Competition Blog

Something free where people submit short work to an email I create and then I pick stuff I like the most. Nothing fancy but something to give people the chance to show off a bit. It's the sort of thing I've been looking for but haven't found so I might as well start one myself.

What I have done.

1. Written the Conspiracy Theory choice text.
2. Collected and corrected my One Weird World stories collection.
3. Taken Fisheye Photos and had a mini exhibition.
4. Started a Blurb book for my Doppelganger photos.

What I am doing.

1. Continuing to work on the Doppelganger photo series and taking them further.
2. Writing the sequel to Embodied Displacement
3. Waiting for the Neutral Density lens to take the shot I want for the cover of the One Weird World collection.
4. Planning a short story based on time travel.

What I want to do.

1. Correct the Conspiracy Theory text and make a narrative video.
2. Write a story based on time travel.
3. Finish the One Weird World collection and print the Blurb book off.
4. Finish the Doppelganger Blurb book.
